ODIME was born when the Office of Diversity Programs and Services (ODPS) combined with the Multicultural Research & Resource Center (MRRC) at George Mason University. ODIME, which stands for The Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Multicultural Education. They were in need of a new image to represent their new combined purpose. The logo that I created captures the multi-layered initiatives and actions of ODIME. ODIME celebrates diversity while integrating multi-cultural education into everyday student life. All of these goals are balanced and pursued by the two original offices. They wanted to express their continually expanding relationship in their new logo as well.

ODIME celebrated their new identity and goals at their Open House on Thursday, March 22, 2012. I wish them the best of luck in their endeavors and can’t wait to see the wonderful work they do at Mason. You can visit their website at http://odps.gmu.edu.
